Notes

Studio recording, 1988-1989. Scotti Hill played the solo. Gear confirmed by Guitar World interview; A/DA MP-1 preamp was main tone source, with Marshall and McIntosh/Groove Tubes power amps. Ibanez Tube Screamer and MXR 6-band EQ were also used in the studio. Roland JC-120 was used for clean parts, not the solo. Spector Les Paul Jr.-style and blue Jackson were main guitars for Hill on this album.

Difficulty

The solo features fast alternate picking, expressive bends with wide vibrato, and melodic phrasing that requires precise control and sustain, making it challenging for intermediate players.
