Studio recording, 1975-1976. Alex Lifeson used his Gibson ES-335 for the main riff sections of 2112, running into a Marshall 50-watt head and 4x12 cabinet. Fender Twin was also present in the studio but the Marshall is cited as the main amp for the heavy riff sections. Effects included Maestro Phase Shifter, Echoplex tape delay, and Cry Baby wah. No evidence of live rig or later-era guitars/amps for this recording.
