Notes

Studio recording, 1994. Dimebag's main rhythm tone for '5 Minutes Alone' was tracked with his Dean ML equipped with a Bill Lawrence L-500XL in the bridge into a Randall RG-100ES head. Effects included rack EQ, noise gate, and flanger. No evidence of live/touring gear or other amps for this studio rhythm tone.

Difficulty

The riff requires advanced palm muting technique, precise timing, and aggressive picking to maintain the song's signature percussive groove. The syncopated rhythm and speed make it challenging for most players.
