Notes

Studio recording, 2004. Guitar is a modded SG Special HP with only a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge, wired directly to the volume knob. Amp is a Marshall JCM800, likely cranked for high-gain rhythm. No evidence of Axe-Fx or digital rigs on the original studio recording; those are for later live setups.

Difficulty

The riff requires tight, fast palm muting and alternate picking, with precise timing and muting to keep clarity under heavy distortion. While not technically virtuosic, the speed and tightness demand solid intermediate technique.
