Studio recording for 'A New Hope' (Enema of the State, 1999). Tom DeLonge used his signature Strat with a single Invader bridge humbucker wired directly to the output, into a Mesa/Boogie Triple Rectifier head and Mesa 4x12 cab. No evidence of pedals or effects used for the riff section; distortion is from the amp. No reverb or delay audible or cited for the riff. Settings estimated from era, genre, and forum sources for classic Blink-182 rhythm tone.
