Studio recording, 1968. Jimi Hendrix used a Stratocaster for the main riff/rhythm sections of 'All Along the Watchtower.' The amp was a Fender Dual Showman, as confirmed by studio documentation and multiple gear sources. The Flying V was used for the solo, not the riff. No evidence of live/tour gear or alternate guitars for this section.
