Notes

Studio recording, 1964. The Elpico AC-55 with a slashed speaker was used for the signature distorted sound, but for any clean sections, the amp would be set to very low volume or a Vox AC30 may have been used for a cleaner tone. No evidence of pedals or effects for clean tone. All information is for the original studio recording, not live.

Difficulty

The riff is rhythmically tight and fast, requiring consistent downstrokes and clean muting, but uses simple chord shapes and no advanced techniques.
