Studio recording, 2008. Mick Thomson tracked rhythm guitars for 'All Hope Is Gone' using his Ibanez MTM1 with EMG pickups into a Marshall JCM800 2203, boosted with a Maxon OD-820 Overdrive Pro. Rivera RockCrusher and Rivera Silent Sister ISO cab with Celestion G12K-100 speakers used for studio isolation. Settings are for studio rhythm tone, not live.
