Notes

Studio recording, 1992. Jerry Cantrell used the G&L Rampage with a single bridge humbucker for most of Dirt, including 'Angry Chair' riff. The amp setup was a Bogner Fish preamp into a Mesa/Boogie power amp, as confirmed by period interviews and rig rundowns. No evidence of live/touring gear or alternate guitars for this specific studio recording.

Difficulty

The riff requires tight palm muting, precise right-hand rhythm, and control of string noise under high gain, making it moderately challenging for intermediate players.
