Studio recording, 1979. For the riff section of 'Another Brick In the Wall, Pt. 2', Gilmour used a Gibson Les Paul with humbuckers into a Hiwatt amp. The solo was recorded direct to the console, but the riff is the heavy, driven amp sound. No evidence of live/tour gear or alternate guitars for this section.
