Studio recording, 2001 (Take Off Your Pants and Jacket). Tom DeLonge used his signature Strat with a single Invader bridge humbucker, straight into a Mesa/Boogie Triple Rectifier for the main riff. No pedals or effects in the signal chain for the riff section; distortion is from the amp. No evidence of modulation or time-based effects on the riff. Pickup selector is hardwired to bridge. No effects loop or amp reverb used for the riff.
