Studio recording, 2004-2005. Stockdale used a Gretsch White Falcon for 'Apple Tree' riff, with a Marshall Plexi among several vintage amps. Producer Dave Sardy patched in different heads, but Marshall Plexi is most likely for the main riff. Effects include Electro-Harmonix Micro Synth. No evidence of other pedals for the riff section.
