Studio recording for 'Big Jack' (Black Ice, 2008). Angus Young is known for running his SG straight into a cranked Marshall Super Lead, with minimal effects. The Schaffer Replica (SoloDallas) preamp/boost is often used in studio and live for solo boost and added compression. No evidence of additional effects or pedals for this solo except possible Schaffer Replica. Pickup is bridge position. No chorus, delay, or modulation audible. Minimal or no reverb, as per AC/DC's classic dry tone.
