Notes

Studio recording for 'Billy No Mates' (2016, Laugh Tracks album). Guitarist Isaac Hale tracked most of the album with a nearly-stock Ibanez Iceman ICTB721 fitted with Seymour Duncan Nazgul and Sentient pickups. The amp was a rare prototype Bogner Überschall Max, described as extremely high-gain and saturated. Pedals included Maxon distortion and Way Huge Swollen Pickle fuzz, both used to push the amp further. All gear confirmed for studio use on this album/era, not live rig.

Difficulty

The riff demands advanced right-hand technique for tight, fast palm-muting and precise rhythm, as well as control over high-gain noise and feedback, making it challenging for most players.
