Studio recording, 1991 (Ten album). Mike McCready is confirmed to have used a '62 reissue Stratocaster for clean sections. Marshall JCM800 is the most cited amp for the era. No evidence of live rig or alternate amp for the studio clean tone. Clean solo section likely uses the Strat's neck or position 4 pickup for softer tone.
