Studio recording, 1968. The solo and entire song were performed by Paul McCartney on a Martin D-28 acoustic guitar, fingerpicked and recorded with a Neumann U67 condenser microphone. No electric guitar, amp, or pedals were used. No evidence of any distorted or heavy section in the original Beatles recording.
