Notes
Studio recording, 1995 NOLA album. Both Pepper Keenan and Kirk Windstein used Gibson Les Pauls into Peavey 5150 amps for the main riff sections. No evidence of pedal use for core rhythm tone; distortion from amp. Drop B tuning confirmed.

Difficulty
The riff is slow and not technically complex, but requires tight palm muting, heavy downpicking, and a strong sense of groove in Drop B tuning. The heaviness and consistency are more challenging than the note choices.
