Studio recording, 1970. Gear confirmed by multiple interviews and period photos. Rory Gallagher used his iconic 1961 Stratocaster into a Vox AC30 for the main riff section of 'Catfish' by Taste. No evidence of pedals or effects beyond amp overdrive and possibly subtle spring reverb from the amp or studio room.
