Notes

Studio recording for 'Dear Diary' (2020, POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR). Lee Malia used his signature Epiphone Les Paul with bridge humbucker for the main riff. The amp tone is a digital recreation of a modded Marshall JCM800 via Neural DSP Quad Cortex. Effects are mostly digital within the Quad Cortex, with some external pedals for pitch shifting and synth textures.

Difficulty

The riff requires fast, aggressive picking with tight palm muting, precise timing for pitch-shifted sections, and maintaining clarity in a dense, layered mix.
