Notes

Studio recording, 2007 (The Cleansing album). Gear confirmed for early Suicide Silence era and specifically referenced for riff tone. Mesa/Boogie Rectifier cabs paired with Peavey 6505+ head. Maxon OD808 used as boost. Settings from Guitar Chalk reference Helix Recto model but reflect the typical 6505+/Rectifier setup for this era.

Difficulty

The riff requires fast, tight alternate picking and palm muting in a very low tuning, demanding precision and stamina. The technical challenge is increased by the need for clean articulation and aggressive attack at high speed.
