Notes

Studio recording for the album 'Ours Is Chrome' (2015). Guitarist Jake Clarke is known to use a Squier Classic Vibe 60s Jazzmaster into a Marshall JCM800 2203 for core rhythm tones. Pedals are confirmed for other Superheaven songs, but for 'Dig Into Me' riff, the fuzz/distortion is likely from a pedal (see below), with amp settings based on typical JCM800 usage and artist interviews.

Difficulty

The riff requires tight, aggressive picking and palm muting to maintain clarity through heavy fuzz, but does not involve complex chord shapes or advanced techniques.
