Notes

Studio recording, 1972. The solo was recorded with a rented Coral Electric Sitar, which is essentially a modified Danelectro guitar with a special bridge for sitar-like buzzing. Denny Dias played the solo. No evidence of additional pedals or amp effects beyond the sitar's unique built-in sound. No evidence of live rig or alternate gear for this section.

Difficulty

The solo is technically intermediate to hard due to the need for precise articulation and adaptation to the Coral Sitar's unique feel and buzzing response, but does not require high-speed shredding or advanced modern techniques.
