Notes

Studio recording for 'Dos' (2004, 'This Type of Thinking...'), main riff section. Pete Loeffler confirmed using his live rig (PRS baritone into Mesa Mark IV) for the record. Some Mark IV and some JP-2C on the album, but Mark IV is main sound for heavy rhythm. No evidence of alternate guitars/amps for this riff section. Studio context.

Difficulty

The riff requires tight palm muting, precise rhythm, and comfort with drop tuning power chord shapes. While not extremely technical, the aggressive attack and syncopation demand solid intermediate technique.
