Notes

Studio recording for 'Down In a Hole' (Dirt, 1992). Jerry Cantrell is known to have used a G&L Rampage with a Duncan JB in the bridge and a Marshall JCM900 for clean and dirty tones on the album. No evidence of live/touring substitutions for the clean section.

Difficulty

The clean riff requires precise arpeggiated picking and dynamic control to maintain clarity and softness, but does not involve advanced techniques or fast tempo.
