Studio recording, 1989. Mick Mars used a variety of high-output Super Strats and Les Pauls in the studio, but for the Dr. Feelgood solo, sources and tone suggest a Strat-style guitar with a bridge humbucker into a Marshall JCM800 (modded), possibly layered with Rivera and Soldano amps. Effects were added in the studio, including delay and reverb. Pickup selector set to bridge. Settings are for studio recording, not live.
