Notes

Studio recording, 2018 ('Living the Dream' album). Slash confirmed using a brand-new Marshall Silver Jubilee 100-watt head for almost the entire record, including 'Driving Rain.' Guitar is most likely his Kris Derrig Les Paul replica or a '58/'59 reissue with Alnico II Pro pickups. No evidence of alternate guitars or amps for the riff section.

Difficulty

The riff requires tight, aggressive picking and palm muting at a moderate tempo, with some string skipping and chord changes, making it intermediate for most players.
