Studio recording for 'Dystopia' (2015-2016). Mustaine used his Dean VMNT signature guitar with Seymour Duncan LiveWire pickups. The main amp tone was modeled in the Fractal Axe-Fx II, emulating his JVM410H and VHT 2150/Marshall setups. Rhythm tracks were recorded in the studio, not live. No evidence of additional pedals for the riff section; tone is primarily amp/guitar-based with digital modeling. No time-based or modulation effects are audible in the riff section.
