Effects & Signal Chain

Notes

Studio recording, 2014 (I Forget Where We Were sessions). The guitar signal was run through a Fender Deluxe amp placed inside an open piano, with the piano strings resonating for unique sustain and ambience. Effects chain includes Strymon Brigadier delay and Strymon Big Sky reverb. Overdrive pedal (Way Huge Green Rhino) used for live replication but not confirmed for studio riff section.

Difficulty

The riff requires advanced fingerstyle technique, mastery of a complex alternate tuning with capo, and nuanced dynamic control to achieve the ambient, resonant tone.
