Notes

Studio recording, 2001 (Lateralus album). Adam Jones is known to use a Les Paul Custom with Seymour Duncan pickups and a Diezel VH4 for clean/delicate tones in the studio. Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier is also in his rig, but Diezel is most likely for this clean, ambient part. No evidence of live/tour gear for this specific recording.

Difficulty

The riff is technically simple but requires precise tremolo picking and clean articulation to maintain the ambient, shimmering effect with delay.
