Notes

Studio recording, 1977-1978. No evidence of a clean amp channel or separate clean amp used for the clean intro. All evidence and listening indicate the clean section is achieved by rolling down the guitar volume knob on the same rig as the main solo. No pedals or effects are engaged for the clean intro; phaser and delay are not present until after the clean section.

Difficulty

The clean intro is technically simple but demands precise volume control and clean picking for clarity. No effects or distortion means every note is exposed, requiring careful articulation and dynamics.
