Studio recording, 1976. This was the classic Santana setup for the Amigos album, confirmed by multiple interviews and gear rundowns. No evidence of pedals for the riff section; sustain and overdrive achieved by cranked Mesa/Boogie Mark I. No evidence of effects loop or external reverb/delay pedals for the riff section.
