Notes

Studio recording, 1991. Keith Scott (Bryan Adams' guitarist) used a splitter box to run into a Vox AC30 and a Marshall or Hiwatt with a 4x12 cab, sometimes with a Pete Cornish treble booster or Ibanez Tube Screamer depending on the track. For the main riff of '(Everything I Do) I Do It for You', the ES-295 with P90s and AC30 are most consistently cited. No evidence of live/tour gear being used on the studio recording.

Difficulty

The riff is straightforward and slow, with basic chord voicings and no advanced techniques, but requires careful dynamic control and clean articulation for the ballad feel.
