Notes

Studio recording, 1978 (album released 1979). Tom Scholz used his custom Rockman rack modules for the Boston debut and 'Don't Look Back' era, including 'Feelin' Satisfied'. No evidence of traditional tube amps on this recording; all tones were achieved with the Rockman system and studio rack effects.

Difficulty

The riff requires intermediate-level rhythmic precision, palm muting, and dynamic control to achieve the tight, articulate Boston sound, but does not involve advanced lead or complex chord voicings.
