Notes

Studio recording, 1996. Dimebag used his Washburn Dime 333 with Bill Lawrence L-500XL bridge pickup into a Randall RG-100ES, with Furman PQ-3 parametric EQ and MXR 6-band EQ in front. Effects included Digitech Whammy, chorus, flanger, phaser, and reverb. Settings estimated based on era, genre, and typical Dimebag rig as no direct knob settings for this solo are available.

Difficulty

The solo demands advanced control of pitch-shifting (Whammy pedal), expressive vibrato, fast legato phrasing, and dynamic swells, making it highly challenging for most guitarists.
