Notes

Studio recording, 1994 'Hell Freezes Over' album. Both Joe Walsh and Don Felder are known to have used Fender Telecasters and Fender Blackface Deluxe amps for riff sections on this era's Eagles recordings. No evidence of Les Pauls or other guitars for this riff. Settings and effects are for the studio version, not live.

Difficulty

The riff requires intermediate skill due to its fast, syncopated powerchord rhythm, precise muting, and articulation, as well as tight timing with delay repeats. While not technically advanced, it demands solid rhythm chops and dynamic control.
