Notes

Studio recording, 2023. Sleep Token's IV is known for using Neural DSP Quad Cortex with REVV Generator amp captures and Mesa cab IRs for both studio and live during this album cycle. Guitar is a Jackson Custom Shop Monarch Baritone with Bare Knuckle Aftermath pickups. All effects are handled in the Quad Cortex or via analog pedals into the modeller. No evidence of traditional tube amp use on the studio recording for 'Gethsemane'.

Difficulty

The riff requires precise palm muting, fast and accurate picking, and complex rhythmic patterns, especially on a baritone or 8-string guitar. The low tuning and technical chugs add to the challenge.
