Notes

Studio recording for 'Resolution' (2012). Mark Morton and Willie Adler both used Mesa/Boogie Mark IV and Mark V amps in the studio, often blended. Guitar is Mark Morton's Jackson Dominion with Seymour Duncan '59 humbuckers. Settings are estimated based on typical Mark IV/V metal usage and genre/era. No evidence of pedals for rhythm/riff section; noise gate and compression may be present for tightness, but no time-based or modulation effects are audible in the riff.

Difficulty

The riff requires advanced right-hand technique for fast, tight palm muting and alternate picking, with precise left-hand muting and synchronization. The rhythm is complex and demands accuracy at a medium-fast tempo.
