Notes

Studio recording for 'Goodbye' (Mammoth WVH, 2023/2024 era). Guitar World interview confirms the goldtop SA-126 was used for nearly all tracks on 'The End' album except for some Frankenstein parts. The 5150 III 6L6 head and matching cab were used in the studio, same as the touring rig. No evidence of pedal use for the main riff section; signal chain is guitar direct to amp. D string was taped near the pickups to reduce buzz during recording.

Difficulty

The riff requires tight palm muting and precise pick attack to maintain clarity under high-gain settings, with syncopated rhythms and consistent timing adding to the challenge.
