Notes

Studio recording, 1983. Billy Gibbons used a Dean ML with a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge into a Legend Rock 'N' Roll 50 hybrid amp for the Eliminator album, including 'Got Me Under Pressure' riff. No evidence of additional pedals for the riff section; the amp provided the main distortion. Settings estimated based on amp type, genre, and era.

Difficulty

The riff requires fast, tight palm muting and precise alternate picking at a brisk tempo, but does not involve advanced chord shapes or complex lead techniques.
