Dave Murray and Adrian Smith both used Strats with humbucker bridge pickups and Marshall Super Lead amps. No evidence of additional pedals for the riff section except possible boost/overdrive for extra gain. No chorus, delay, or modulation effects audible in the riff section; effects are reserved for solos.
