Studio recording, 1987. Angus Young's solo tone on 'Heatseeker' was achieved with his main Gibson SG into a Marshall Super Lead 1959 head, boosted by the Schaffer-Vega Diversity System (used as a preamp/boost). No additional pedals or effects confirmed for the solo. No amp reverb or delay. Pickup selector set to bridge. No chorus, flanger, or time-based effects audible. All sources confirm a direct, dry, classic Marshall sound with Schaffer boost. No evidence of live rig or alternate gear for the studio solo.
