Notes

Studio recording for 'Hell to Pay' (2015, Got Your Six album). Jason Hook and Zoltan Bathory both used Kemper Profilers for amp tones in the studio. The M-4 Sherman Explorer with EMG active pickups is confirmed as Jason Hook's main guitar for this era. No evidence of traditional tube amps or other guitars for the main riff section.

Difficulty

The riff requires tight, aggressive palm muting and precise picking at a moderate tempo, with syncopated rhythms typical of modern metal. While not technically extreme, it demands solid right-hand control and timing.
