Notes

Studio recording, 1968 (White Album sessions, 2018 mix is a remix of this session). Paul McCartney played the main riff on his Casino. Some sources suggest additional layers with Vox Conqueror or Fender Showman. No evidence of pedals used on the original studio riff section, only amp distortion. Effects are from amp or studio, not pedals.

Difficulty

The riff requires aggressive, fast strumming and dynamic control to manage the amp's feedback and breakup, but does not involve advanced techniques or complex chord shapes.
