Notes

Live performance, Los Angeles 2/4/96. This is the classic 'Mellon Collie' era live rig, not the layered studio setup. Corgan used his 'Bat Strat' with DiMarzio HS-3 in the bridge, running into his JCM800 head with KT88 tubes for extra headroom and punch. No Big Muff live; distortion comes from amp and/or RAT pedal. Effects are minimal in the riff section.

Difficulty

The riff requires solid alternate picking, palm muting, and aggressive attack to maintain the song's drive and articulation, but does not involve advanced techniques or complex timing.
