Notes

Studio recording, 1984. D. Boon used his Telecaster with stock single-coils into a Fender Twin Reverb. No pedals or effects used on rhythm/riff sections; Tube Screamer only used for solos/overdubs per engineer Ethan James. Rhythm/riff is dry, clean amp.

Difficulty

The riff requires tight, percussive rhythm playing with precise muting and dynamic control, but uses straightforward chord shapes and picking, making it accessible to intermediate players.
