Notes

Studio recording, 2017 (album: Way Out West). Guitar is always the Clarence White Telecaster. Amp is the SIR-acquired, hot-rodded Silverface Deluxe Reverb. Pedal use is minimal, with a Radial BigShot PB-1 booster and possibly a Keeley Super Phat Mod for solos. No evidence of additional pedals or effects specific to 'Hummingbyrd' solo beyond amp reverb and solo boost.

Difficulty

The solo requires advanced B-Bender technique, fast and clean single-note runs, and dynamic control for expressive phrasing, making it challenging for most players.
