Studio recording, 1993 (In Utero sessions, 2013 mix). The Randall RG-120 was rarely used on In Utero; the Quad Reverb was the main amp for heavy tones. DS-2 Turbo Distortion pedal into a clean Fender amp was the core sound. Pickup and amp confirmed for studio, not live.
