Studio recording, 1969; John Fogerty used his black Les Paul Custom tuned down a whole step (D-G-C-F-A-d) for the solo. Amp was a Kustom K200A with no reverb or built-in effects engaged. No evidence of pedals or outboard effects on the original studio solo.
