Notes

Studio recording, 1977 (Spectres album). Buck Dharma played the producer's Gibson ES-175 (not his usual SG) for the riff and rhythm tracks. Amp was set for pristine clean tone. Room mics and studio EMT plate reverb were used for ambience. No pedals confirmed for this section.

Difficulty

The riff requires precise arpeggiated picking and clean chord transitions, with a soft dynamic touch to maintain the song's moody, ambient feel. While not fast or technically advanced, the exposed clean tone leaves little room for error.
