Notes

Studio recording, 1963. Paul McCartney played the solo on a 1962 Fender Esquire through a Vox AC30. No evidence of pedals or additional effects used in the studio for this solo. All sources agree the Beatles were using Vox AC30s in this era and that Paul played the solo, not George.

Difficulty

The solo is intermediate due to its brisk tempo, bluesy phrasing, and need for tight, articulate picking and bends, but does not require advanced techniques.
